The healthy lifestyles service will be speaking to shoppers and dressing up in wacky banana and apple costumes to hand out free fruit as part of the World Cancer Research Fund UK’s (WCRF UK) annual ‘Fruity Friday’ campaign. The event is designed to encourage individuals to eat ‘just one more’ portion of fruit per day on Friday 17th May as a way of reducing the risk of cancer.

River Island have signed a 10 year lease in the scheme in the centre of Ipswich, following  stiff competition from other key retail interest in the space.   River Island will significantly increase its product offering in Ipswich which will include the introduction of its successful childrenswear range.  Three existing units are being reconfigured to extend the retail space which is in a prime location at the high street entrance of the shopping centre.
